At age four, I began dancing at Cumberland Dance Academy in Fayetteville, NC. While in the studio, I watched older dancers in various genres like ballet, jazz, and pointe, aspiring to be like them. Technique is crucial to me, and I focus on it closely. I enjoy all genres and dance because it makes me happy. I'm confident in most genres and adapt quickly to new techniques.
Being in a Ciara music video could open up a ton of new doors. Plus, it would be super exciting since I'm a big fan of hers. Getting to work with her would not only help me level up my dance skills but also boost my mindset. It’s a huge opportunity to gain exposure, connect with industry pros, and take my career to the next level.
I would use the $20,000 to attend more dance classes, especially tap, and join more summer intensives to grow my skills. I'd also upgrade my dance space with mirrors, a mounted TV, and a stationary bar to train better at home. Plus, it would be amazing to sponsor my "dance little" for a dance intensive so she can gain that experience too!
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
