My favorite dance style is contemporary! I love the ability to use my body to make shapes that show strength and beauty. My dance style is inspired by dancers like Dexter Carr and Chantel Aguirre but I look up to Blue Ivy and her confidence to get up in front of millions and we are the same age.
Being in Ciara’s video will be life changing and allow me to showcase my talents across the world! I can show other young dancers that age is just a number! When you give it your all and work hard you can compete against anyone! The opportunity to be in a video inspires me!
I would use the money to help further my dance studies. My mom sacrifices a lot to help pay for classes as a single Parent but this money would help pay for my training and to travel to experience other choreographers. Also I want to take classes at Alvin Ailey and this money could really help
