My dance is a fusion of my roots—Washington, D.C. area (DMV—District, Maryland, and Virginia), Trinidad, and the beats that shaped me. Growing up with Hip-Hop, GoGo, and Caribbean rhythms, I’ve blended these powerful influences into my own unique style. My family’s legacy and the guidance of mentors from the DMV dance community fuel my passion, pushing me to constantly evolve. Dance is how I connect to my culture and express who I am.
Being in Ciara’s music video would be a game-changer for my dreams of becoming a professional dancer and choreographer. It would give me a chance to showcase my unique style to a global audience and learn from one of the best. The experience would push me closer to my goal of touring the world, teaching dance, and one day sharing the stage with iconic and legendary artists. It’s the perfect opportunity to grow, connect, and take my passion to the next level!
With $20,000, I’d reinvest in my dance future by attending top conventions and intensives to sharpen my skills. I’d travel to train with the best and get exposure to new styles. A big part of my plan is moving to LA to be closer to the opportunities I need to grow as a dancer. This money would help me take those crucial next steps, giving me the chance to learn, network, and eventually make my mark in the dance world. It’s all about building the foundation for my dreams!
