Tell us about your dance style or inspiration:

My dance style can be described as a melting pot of styles. I have technical training from my varsity dance team (which included Poms, Jazz and hip-hop) as well as being self taught in the genre of hip-hop. I have also had one on one training with Aliya Janell. I take inspiration from Parris Goebel but also focus on dances that have high energy. Overall, I allow the music to inspire me.

How would being in Ciara's music video impact your life?

Coming from a state (CO) where the dance community is small, this opportunity would jump start my dream career. It will give me the opportunity to dance with one of my idols as well as build relationships with other creators. It will open the doors to more opportunities that otherwise would not be available to me and overall continue to grow my love of dance. As I am the oldest of 8 grandkids, I want to show my cousins that with hard work, dedication and passion you can dream big and succeed.

What would you do with the $20,000?

This amount of money would allow me to make the move I need for my dream which is move to California. It will help me invest in my dance training and take the burden off of my mother who has taken care of me alone all my life (and is currently doing the same with my younger sister). To be completely honest, it really isn’t about the money but about the experience of this opportunity.
