As the FIRST Hispanic Prancing J-Sette of JSU and an Army soldier, I fuse discipline & artistry to inspire through choreography and fitness
Thank you for supporting me in this competition. Your donations and participation will benefit the Why Not You Foundation in their mission to fight poverty through education initiatives that empower youth to lead with a why not you attitude.
My dance style is associated with HBCU dancelines, commonly known as “majorette.” It’s a fusion of jazz, African, hip-hop, acrobatics, and funk! Because the style is so unique it’s fitting for every tempo of music. It can be slow and sexy, with lots of finesse, or funky and intense, with a mix of stunts and energetic movements!
As a passionate dance teacher, this opportunity would allow me to expand my platform and outreach; allowing me to spread my love of dance on a larger scale while training others in various dance styles!
After paying my Student Loans and other debts, I would invest into starting up my non-profit organization; focused on feeding, cleaning, housing, and educating individuals experiencing homelessness. With a mission to advocate for other stereotyped and underserved communities, such as those with disabilities (pushing for more accessibility and inclusivity), and the incarcerated (reformation efforts and re-entry programs)
