Help me compete to become the Dance Icon and appear in a music video with Ciara and win $20,000!
I'm self-taught, learning through watching dance videos on YouTube, and have taken a few hip hop and burlesque dance classes in university. What inspires me to dance are the endorphins. Dance is such a great way to exercise AND tell a story. I learned from watching dance videos featuring Beyoncé, Zendaya, Victoria Monet, Mindless Behaviour and other dancers who choreograph to songs I enjoy. Challenging myself and then watching myself improve is so rewarding.
It would be a great opportunity to learn from a living legend, be part of something bigger than myself, and great professional dance experience to add to my resume. It'd open doors to my next chapter as a full time professional creative.
I would sow into ministries that have helped me grow in my faith (10%), donate to charities in my community (5%), put a portion aside for my wedding (25%), invest into my entrepreneur businesses (10%) and use the rest to help my parents pay off their debt as a thank you for their financial support and have a lil fun.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
