I have been training in many different types of dance such as hip hop, lyrical, jazz, and majorette (my main one) since I was 8 years old. My inspiration came from Micheal Jackson. I used to watch his videos all the time with my grandma. I also have been inspired by the Dancing Dolls from the hit TV show “Bring It”. I have had the opportunity to meet and work with them as well.
Being in Ciara’s music video would impact my in a lot of ways. For starters, I like to push my self to the best of my ability so working with professional choreographers and dancers will give me valuable insight into the industry. Another would be networking. It will give me a lot of exposure and it could open the doors to many other opportunities for me. Dancing is my passion so dancing in the video will bring a sense of creative satisfaction.
Since I am a college student but I recently had to drop out due to me not being able to afford it, I will go to school and pay for it with the $20,000. My family is apart of the lower class and they struggle financially raising 5 kids with little to no help. My dads car had to get repossessed because he couldn’t afford it so I would help my parents out with buying them cars to transport my younger siblings to and from school and help out with a couple months rent and focus on getting me a
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
