I've been doing liturgical dance since I was four and started hip-hop at ten. Being on a dance team gave me the confidence I have today. The studio became my safe space and still is, as I now coach the same team I joined at ten. Hip-hop has changed my life for the better and will always hold a special place in my heart!
Being a part of Ciara’s video would be a dream come true! As a plus-size dancer, I rarely see representation in videos or on stage. Ciara and Beyoncé are among the few artists who have included plus-size dancers on tour, proving they value real, authentic talent regardless of size. Being in this video would open new doors, help me grow, and give me the chance to be seen in the dance world.
If I win the $20,000, I would first sow a seed back to God because, without Him, none of this would be possible. I would also donate to suicide prevention and support Majik Touch Dance Company, the studio where I coach!
