Tell us about your dance style or inspiration:

Growing up in Hawaii, I was inspired by hula dancing which was the basis of my training for the fundamental years as a dancer. I transitioned into hip hop/street dancing after seeing pop divas like Janet Jackson, Aaliyah, Britney Spears & Ciara. I took a few dance classes but my experience is mostly learning dances from music videos as well as live performances and reteaching them to dance team members.

How would being in Ciara's music video impact your life?

When I moved from Hawaii to Washington state, the reason was to take advantage of how many more opportunities I would be able to have as a dancer. For the most part, I have been able to achieve that. I’ve danced for Pride events and some local as well as mainstream drag queens. But what I haven’t been able to do, and what I think every dancers dream is, is to dance for an amazing Icon who has inspired me and my talent. Being able to show the person you look up to how they moved you,

What would you do with the $20,000?

Honestly, as someone who joined the military late in life, there have been a a lot of setbacks. I would use the money to catch up on the things I am behind on. I would also gift those who have helped me in those times of struggle. With that’s left, I would like to treat my loved ones to a trip or a visit just to show them how loved they are and tell them about an experience that had changed my life. And about a dream that had come true.
