My dance styles are contemporary, lyrical, and jazz, but Hip Hop truly has my heart and soul. Being able to put my attitude into my moves and really express myself is my favorite thing about it. My inspiration is one of my mentors Corbin Hunter (Johnson) who has toured with Beyoncé and Megan The Stallion. A dream of mine is to background dance on tour with a popular artist.
This opportunity would help me put myself out there and really come out of my shell as a dancer and as a person. I’m in this to win but more so to be recognized by the big names such as Ciara herself. This opportunity is a chance to prove to myself that I am good enough to make it where I want to in life. Dance is my PASSION!
This is my senior year of High school and I really want to go the HBCU I got accepted at in Virginia. I also plan on continuing my passion for dance and trying out for the majorette team at Virginia Union University. I live in Minnesota so I’d have to move away and out of state fees on top of the college tuition is crazy high. I’d put the $20,000 towards college to have a jumpstart on tuition.
