My dance style is a fusion of diverse experiences, from competitive ballroom and folk dances in the Philippines to modern, lyrical, and hip-hop styles. Each style has shaped me into a versatile dancer who values both precision and expression. My inspiration comes from the transformative power of dance to build confidence and community—values I carry with me as a teacher at DivaDance Jacksonville. Dance is my way of telling stories, connecting with people, and celebrating individuality.
Being in Ciara’s music video would be life-changing, not just for me but for the communities I serve. It would be an incredible platform to showcase the hard work and passion I’ve poured into dance over the years. As someone who has embraced both Filipino traditions and the dynamic American dance culture, it would represent a powerful blending of my roots and growth. This opportunity would inspire my students and colleagues to dream big.
With $20,000, I would invest in Dance Dream Studio by Ronnel, my passion project focused on teaching dance to adults of all levels. The funds would help me expand the studio, develop better resources for students, and create scholarships for aspiring dancers who lack access to training. Additionally, I’d use a portion to support my family in the Philippines, who have always been my greatest supporters. This opportunity would be about giving back and spreading the joy of dance even further.
