Thank you for supporting me in this competition. Your donations and participation will benefit the Why Not You Foundation in their mission to fight poverty through education initiatives that empower youth to lead with a why not you attitude.
My dance style is more versatile. Urban contemporary mixed with locking and waves. However I can throw down in a pair of heels as well. This combination allows me to adapt to various genres to keep my style engaging.
Moving from Detroit to Arizona it has been difficult to build my community with dance and people that will support my work here. With that being said being in Ciara's music video will impact my life by adding exposure to a wider audience where I will be able to take my business in performing, teaching, and choreographing more seriously. I will be able to step into my calling and live out what God has placed on the inside of me and show my two girls that dreams do come true if you let them.
With $20,000, I would focus on building my online presence and brand by investing in a UBC that teaches me branding and how to effectively grow my presence. I’d also invest in dance classes to improve my technique. Travel expenses for auditions and dance gigs would be covered, helping me gain more exposure. After having to pawn my camera and gimbal to pay rent, I plan to purchase new equipment, including a better laptop for filming and editing. Lastly, I would run ads on my content.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
