My dance style is very energetic! I love to dance hip hop, salsa and traditional dances from Puerto Rico. I draw inspiration from my community, culture, and the students I service as a school social worker, encouraging them to dream big. I’m motivated by artists like Ciara & Chris Brown, & by proving others wrong when they doubt my abilities because of the way I look. I thrive on being the “shock factor” & showing the world what I can accomplish.
Being in Ciara’s music video would have a huge impact on my life. It would allow me to represent all my plus-size queens & show that dreams really do come true. It’s an opportunity to showcase the hard work I’ve put into perfecting my craft & to fulfill a dream I’ve had since I was 12–being in a music video with an artist who has inspired me for years. It would give me the chance to spread positivity on a larger platform, sharing love, hope, & good vibes
If I won the $20,000, I would pay off my student loans, take my mom to Greece as a thank you for her unwavering support and unconditional love, and invest in new social worker materials for my students I serve.
