Help me compete to become the Dance Icon and appear in a music video with Ciara and win $20,000!
My dance style is a blend of ballet, urban hip hop, and jazz. My dance inspiration comes from using dance as an outlet to overcome adversities as a single mother pursuing my law degree to open doors for my son, as well as help other single mothers who need legal help but challenged with affordability.
It would solidify me as a professional dancer and help me transition my dance talent into skill, where being a background dancer becomes my creative income source.
With the $20,000 I can accomplish 3 major goals on my journey as a single mother and aspiring lawyer. I would use some of the money for a down payment on my son’s and my first house. In addition, another portion would help me purchase a reliable vehicle to support my MotherLawyer journey to get my son to/from school and myself to/from work and school. Lastly, I plan on the remainder of the funds to cover 1.5 years of living expenses during my first year of law school as a single mother.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
