Tell us about your dance style or inspiration:

I am a professionally trained ballet and modern dancer but have since moved to hip hop and the lovely dances that come out of tik tok! Musicality is a gift of mine and playing around with beats and movement is such a fun way to explore dance. Teaching that to my students was a true passion of mine.

How would being in Ciara's music video impact your life?

Being on the set of a music video is always where I thought I’d find myself but as it happens, life and kids became a happy priority. Now that I believe I have the skill and drive to still do it, I want to get back out there! It would check off a lot of life boxes and show my kids that age ain’t a thang! Also, to have the opportunity to do it next to Ciara, who has showed that motherhood doesn’t stop who you are and want to be, would really be the cherry on top.

What would you do with the $20,000?

Our school district had an amazing gymnastics program that I coached for that incorporated music and dance for over 200 students. After flourishing for 45 years, a single parent took her position as a board member and brought the entire program down. Our students, coaches and community were devastated. I would take this money to start and open a new dance and gymnastics facility for my area so I can continue to teach these girls I miss and love. Having dance and music in your life matters!
