Thank you for supporting me in this competition. Your donations and participation will benefit the Why Not You Foundation in their mission to fight poverty through education initiatives that empower youth to lead with a why not you attitude.
My pocket and interests stem from the fusion of contemporary and hip hop. Having background training in modern and ballet allow me to mix these classical elements with the flavor of pop and funk dance styles. Drawing my inspiration from the depth of gospel and r&b I admire artists who incorporate the art form of storytelling into their compositions.
It always feels good to be acknowledged for your hard work and dedication. As a dance teacher for young students and teens, this opportunity would allow me to advocate and inspire those students, who relate to my upbringing and background, to confidently go after their dreams as well
With this money I will buy land to invest into an outdoor/ garden studio and create a nonprofit organization within my community. This program will not only teach about holistic healing practices that stem from dance and music, but it would also allow me to grow an apothecary (medicine farm) to aid in the personal and professional goals of the individuals within that community. Health is wealth so investing into something that builds generational wealth with those around me would be satisfying!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
