My dance style is a blend of traditional Bharathanatyam and Street Styles. I like to keep my groove, but I also like to test the limits of my body constantly and find unique postures and qualities of movement. I am heavily Inspired by Hip-Hop as a cultural movement, and how it innovates ancestral knowledge while still remaining authentic to its original essence. I try to find a way for my ancestral knowledge to stay alive as I continue to grow and change with present times.
It would be an inspiration to my students to see their dance teacher in a music video. Especially in a world where art programs are scarce, they should know that a career in the arts is possible. I think it would also inspire my friends and family who have been unsure of my career choices that I’m really serious about this! Being in Ciara’s Music Video would be a major win for the culture and prove to myself and others like me that no matter where you're from you can still make dream
Invest in video and audio equipment, so I can continue to make music and put out projects of higher quality. I want to offer my services for upcoming musicians and dancers, so we can have performances that truly reflect our artistic vision. I want to Start my own dance company to build my personal body of work, and to also create a safe space for artists like me to showcase their talents and collaborate. I would move to a major city where I can continue to build my career as a dancer.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
