Hailing from the Caribbean I’ve been able to blend styles such as Soca, Jazz , Dancehall ,Afrobeats and create fun choreographic elements that pop on stage or in a class and blend well with other dancers.
It would definitely add a tremendous value to my life as growing up and going to parties I was always told that there was nothing for dancers and it made no sense and that I needed a job and take life seriously. And I did take life seriously I became a dancer and choreographer so being accepted and given this opportunity will inspire dancers that look up to me that there is indeed a life to be made as a dancer!
I know what it was like to not have a support system and if I can be that anchor for upcoming talent then that’s what I’ll be. My aim is to open a dance facility that can house dancers of different backgrounds and give them a place to train. and also learn from local and international dancers in the industry by having workshops and bootcamps.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
