My dance style often focuses on the difference between slow and quick movements. I also value the use of different levels and directions in my choreography. I’m inspired by Ciara and Chris Brown as overall artist, because I have an additional passion for music! When it comes to dance specifically, I’m also inspired by legends like Debbie Allen and newer choreographers like Sean Bankhead.
Being in Ciara’s music video will highly enhance my dance resume, and can lead to the type of large scale opportunities that my small town doesn’t offer.
With $20,000 I will be able enhance performing arts within my hometown, creating programs where youth can use dance to build life skills and enjoy diverse experiences. I also look forward to helping my mom decrease her debt. Since childhood, my mom supported my artistic goals. However, it was at a great financial expense to her. I would love to be able to give back to her, because she has and still is always giving to me.
