Tell us about your dance style or inspiration:

My inspiration to dance has come from my upbringing in Belizea & traveling to Congo. I teach traditional dance from both countries sharing the knowledge/stories of the people before our time which bring gratitude for where we are today. Both countries are the heart beat and I share that in my dancing/teachings of their resilence. Many students walk away with a new understanding of these people. It more than a dance we become a community sharing our energies.

How would being in Ciara's music video impact your life?

I love Ciara from she came out and have watched her evolved in her talent. Being apart of her music video will impact my life to further teach and inspire the younger generations here in Arizona and home Belize. Being a brand ambassador of Ciara will further her reach and mine. In Belize they are not live performances from hip hop artist.

What would you do with the $20,000?

Winning the 20k will allow me to create my dance program called Reconnecting to Africa. It would be a dance cultural exchange program taking those from Arizona to another country and those from my country Belize to America. Lastly, I would also like to take teachers to travel with me to other countries to teach. The exchange program will reconnect us all to our roots and create a community of dancers that can help heal and revolutionize our society through art.
