I would call my style story telling. I love mixing different styles because dance is a worldwide language. I’ve always had an hard time pushing myself into spaces I know I belong. My confidence is unmeasured, but sometimes that voice gets to me when I see someone with more technical skills than I. As a teen watching Ciara, It gave me back the same inspiration Missy gave me as a child. Dancers aren’t as appreciated and recognized in the industry. Ciara helped show that dancers are a huge part of an artist vision, dancing for a woman who I know appreciates our craft is what means the upmost
My dream is to open a small Arts Recreational Center for the youth in Raleigh NC. There are a lot of programs for children who are into academics and sports, but none for the Arts. Our Artist/Creatives frequently get left out or the programs are expensive which is not ideal for these. I want to create a space for future entrepreneurs/creatives to come face to face with the experienced and hardworking people they need to see in order to know that they can thrive in this field as well.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
