My biggest inspiration is God. He guides and protects me. I use this inspiration to bring life to dancing. My dance style varies, but when I dance, it's like an automatic spotlight - there are alot of eyes on me. I even get told I resemble Ciara (alot). She is a true inspiration, and I would love to be in her dance video.
Being in Ciara's music video would be a dream come true. It would impact my life in so many ways. One way is by showing people that through adversity and downfalls, as long as you don't give up, you can still make it. Another way is by shutting down the naysayers who believe you can't achieve dreams like this after the age of 40 (I'm 41 and I still move like a 20 year old). Finally, I could be an inspiration to others who believe it's too late to fulfill there dreams.
If I won $20,000, I would pay off my student loans and donate a portion to breast cancer research. I'm not one who gives up easily, and I outwork my competition. I would love to prove this as a contestant, to ultimately become the number one contestant. My "why" is strong, and winning $20,000 would go toward my why. This would mean everything to me.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
