My dance style is extremely versatile. There’s nothing I can’t do or learn. I’ve loved dancing since a baby running to the floor model tv to shake my leg at the jeopardy theme song to marveling at the swing dance era. Watching the energy of James Brown & MC Hammer & the pure talent of Michael & Janet Jackson. The 90’s dance culture alone catapulted my passion for dancing. The impact of being in Ciara’s music video would be life changing. Cliche yet truthful. It would bring exposure to an industry I’ve only ever dreamed of breaking into. Knowing I am good enough to be in Ciara’s video is one thing. Showing the world & being able to express my talents on such a major platform would be a dream come true!
With $20,000 I would invest in my dance fitness classes. Funding my classes would create a trickle down of various resources for men, women & children in my community. Dance classes for adults with some days that are kid friendly. Book club for the kids that focuses on academics at their pace or learning style. Creating ways to bring our communities back together while providing resources that helps each individual home thrive. That’s what I would do with $20,000.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
