I grew up watching dance competitions, and knew that being on stage performing was what I wanted to do! And not only did I want to be on stage, but I wanted to become a dance teacher and choreographer as well, so that I too could portray my creative ideas through movement! My dance style is a representation of who I am and allows me to express things that are just unexplainable through any other channel.
Ciara is among one of the MANY female artists of my generation who inspired be to be a powerhouse mover. I grew up watching her music videos and it always was incredible to me how she could captivate anyone who watched her. I wanted to be like that! I remember pausing my DVR to learn so many of her music video routines and freestyles, and then once I wanted to create my own dances, I turned to her music! Being in her music video would be completely full circle for me and truly a dream come true!
With $20,000, I would first and foremost do anything I could to assist any family or friends of mine who are struggling. Then, I would use the rest to invest in my future and my ongoing dance career. I dream to have a creative space of my own in the community one day, and know that this money would help with the building blocks of that journey! The experience alone would be a dream and the money would just be an added factor of motivation, but I would be so grateful for the experience alone!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
