I was very classically trained, my teachers instilled the value of having a strong technical foundation but I took all different styles of dance, ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop. As I got older I found my own unique way of moving. I love contemporary fusion, I like to use my technique & sensuality, and fuse it with the musicality of r&b, hip-hop & pop music.
I am immensely grateful to have had such a wonderful & successful dance career thus far. However I still have many goals to accomplish, it’s always been a dream of mine to dance in a music video. Ciara is such an inspiring, multitalented, iconic artist. Dancing with her would be a dream come true, it would skyrocket my career & my life to new heights.
Honestly I would give a portion to my mom, she’s supported me in every way my whole life. She’s currently back in school getting her masters degree. I would like to give back to her and help her pay for her degree. I would put the rest of the money in my savings.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
