My style is very BOLD, sensual, spicy, and full of energy. Due to my small stature, my facial expressions and energy has always been bigger than me because I’ve been trained to make sure people all the way in the back of the room can see me. Since a two year old, my first song my parents put on a CD (on 20 tracks repeatedly) was Lose Control by Missy Elliot and Ciara. My parents said my body would immediately start moving and I grew up wanting to be like the dancers in the video.
Doing this music video would be everything I’ve worked for, prayed for, and wished for as someone who has been dancing for 19 out 22 years of my life. It would impact my dance career and teach me how to further move as an upcoming choreographer and professional dancer.
Honestly it would be 10k for my mother, 5K for my bills and living expenses, and 5k for my dance building to cater to dancers and dance organizations in need of space to practice. As a college student with a disability at Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University, My college career has been longer due to my mental health while in school. My mom has supported me and been to all my performances and has been the best mom she could be given our circumstances. She deserves this just as much as
