My dance style is deeply rooted in emotional expression and the earth itself. I aim to tell stories through my movements, allowing my body to communicate what words cannot, much like Martha Graham’s famous quote: ‘The body says what words cannot.’ My inspiration comes from the meaningful connections I make with others, as well as the incredible energy and passion I receive from my students, who motivate and inspire me every day.
Being in Ciara’s music video would be a life-changing opportunity, allowing me to showcase my dance in front of a global audience. It would not only elevate my career but also inspire me to push my boundaries as an artist. Collaborating with Ciara, whose work I deeply admire, would fuel my passion and open doors to new creative opportunities. This experience would be a powerful milestone in my journey, strengthening my connection to dance and inspiring me to keep growing.
With $20,000, I would first support my family, who has been impacted by the Los Angeles fires, helping them rebuild and recover. Additionally, I would invest in opening my own dance studio, creating a safe, nurturing space where students can grow, express themselves, and find community. This would allow me to give back to others and provide a positive, creative outlet for those seeking empowerment through movement.
