My Dance style is very fluid. I grew up praise dancing and fell in love with how it made me feel. Everything in me just makes sense when I’m dancing. My emotions, attitude, expressions, thoughts, and spirit just all align perfectly. It’s truly just my God given talent that I’ve made into purpose. It’s driven me to learn, grow and excel in many areas of my life. It’s gotten me out of my comfort zone a plethora of times.
Being in this video would change everything for me. It would truly make what some think as almost impossible, reality for someone like me. It would make me not just more confident, but more equipped to take on the challenge of raising young dancers with the confidence and mindset that they can do and be who they want to be. Although I have had other accomplishments in my life that my family and friends are proud of, it would truly give me something for me to be proud of doing for only me.
I would first put part towards my student loans that I have accumulated getting my bachelor’s degree. Then I would put half of what’s left over into investments to help grow some of it for proper use in the future. I dream to open my own dance studio and train girls one day. I will use the other half to help my mom. She’s done everything alone for me and is still carrying most of the financial burden till this day.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
