My dance style has always been hip hop since I was a lil girl. I used to dance on dance teams that show cased hip hop, jazz, majorette, and even a lil ballet. The dance icons such as, Ciara, Rihanna, Tinashe have all inspired me to dance my heart out no matter what.
Being in Ciara’s music video would impact my life tremendously. I used to always get overlooked being a plus size girl until they saw what I can do, they would instantly go into shock mode. I want to be that inspiration for all my plus size females that didn’t think they can do or those who would get overlooked.
Honestly I don’t know what I would do with the 20k. I just know I want to do something positive with it and not just blow through it just because I have it. I probably would put a down payment on a new car for my mom, because she’s been my biggest supporter through everything and I just want to be able to say “Here mom this is for you”.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
