Trained in all genres, I found my groove in Hip-hop and Afrobeats. My love for dance sparked at 4, watching Missy Elliott and Ciara videos. I’d throw on a stylish outfit, lace up my sneakers, and turn my living room into a stage. My mom still has VHS tapes of me getting down like a pro! Dance got me through the good and bad of life. I thank god for the talent he gave me.
Becoming a single mom has shifted my world in so many ways. I absolutely love motherhood with all my heart, but I’ve felt like I’ve lost a little piece of myself along the way. Being in a video with Ciara, my lifelong inspiration, would be a dream come true. She’s inspired me since I was a kid, and it would reignite my fire for dance. It’d push me to go harder, remind me I’m still that girl, and show my daughter that no matter what life throws at you, you can chase
I would pay my dept and provide a better life for me and my little 1 year old girl. I work very hard, I’m a travel agent currently. In this economy, trying to meet ends meet as a single mom seems impossible. It would also give me a jumpstart to cut back on my day job so I can get Back to the studio to dance again.
