Since I was a little girl, hip hop, jazz, & contemporary dance have always been my passion. These styles have given me the freedom to express myself in every possible way, which is why I've remained dedicated to studying dance. My biggest inspiration is my younger self—the girl who was told she wasn’t good enough but got back up every time. The girl who was told she wouldn’t walk again after surgery, but proved them wrong. Everything I do is for that little girl.
Being cast in Ciara’s music video would mark a pivotal moment in my journey as a dancer—an exciting first step into the professional dance world. This opportunity would not only be a significant milestone in my career but also offer me invaluable insight into the incredible possibilities that the dance industry has to offer. I am truly grateful for this chance and eagerly look forward to the audition process.
If I were awarded the $20,000, I would use it to support my parents and help finish paying for my college education. My parents are the hardest-working people I know, and they’ve sacrificed so much to give my sisters and me opportunities they never had. They mean everything to me, and if I could ease their burden in this way, it would be an incredible gift. Helping them achieve a sense of relief and seeing their dreams fulfilled would truly mean the world to me.
