My dance style blends hip hop, ballet, jazz, and majorette, showcasing my versatility as a dancer. I draw inspiration from watching music videos of artists like Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Ciara, and Usher.
Being in Ciara’s music video would significantly impact my life as both a dancer and an instructor. I teach youth and senior citizens in Chicago, and my goal is to inspire them by showing that dreams can come true. Participating in such a high-profile project would validate my passion for dance and allow me to share my journey, encouraging my students to pursue their own dreams. It would enhance my teaching and deepen my commitment to empowering others through the art of dance.
I would invest half of it on my College Education that I’m currently paying out of pocket for. I attend Concordia University Chicago as a Healthcare Administration major. I would put the other half towards my down payment on buying a house. I’m currently paying both out of pocket and it’s expensive!
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
