When I was nine years old, I discovered my love for Latin ballroom dancing. Since the day I first walked into the studio, I never stopped! Latin ballroom is such a fun, energetic, and entertaining style, but it also comes with passion, emotion, and control. My favorite styles are Cha Cha and Paso Doble, but to be honest, I love them all. I also grew a love for hip hop, and I love combining the two! Both hip hop and Latin are entertaining and fun, but both take lots of energy and hard work.
I am just at the beginning of my dance career journey. I have always been known as “the ballroom girl” and I am proud of that. I think letting my latin ballroom have a chance to be seen in a music video setting would help me build a community and find my place in the dance world.
Like I said, I am just at the start of my journey which is so exciting, but comes with some costs! For example, I am hoping to move to LA to position myself in the place where so much opportunity for dancers is available! I would use the money for an apartment and the things that come with that. I would also love to give back in some way to the dance like hosting some free classes for dancers to get exposure to latin ballroom!
