I’ve always had a love for hip hop since I was a young child. Artists like Chris Brown, Beyoncé, Missy Elliot, and of course Ciara have made music, visuals, and choreography that has inspired me to imitate and create dance styles. My passion grows every day and I love being able to move creatively.
Being in Ciara’s music video could help me branch out of my comfort zone and fully challenge my abilities as a dancer. I’ve loved to dance all my life, but I haven’t had many opportunities to be a part of something that improves and challenges me. I feel like this could be a step closer to achieving my dream which is traveling and dancing with artists. Being along side someone like Ciara who has had such an impact on hiphop and dance as a whole would be a dream come true as wel
I would put some of it towards me finishing college, and I would also use some of it to help fund my college dance team so that we can have more performances, travel, and showcase our talents, allowing more dancers my age to get the exposure they dream of.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
