My inspiration comes from my grandma. She’s Cuban and Puerto Rican so salsa and meringue have just been embedded in me. She truly got me into dance and as I grew older my love for hip hop grew and it became my number one dance style.
Ciara was actually the one who got me into hip hop. Ever since one two step came out I would play her music video over and over again just to get the step right at age of 5. “Like a boy” music was probably my all time favorite so to be able to dance with her will definitely be a full circle moment for me
If I took home the $20k prize I would definitely use that to finish my ultrasound tech certification and save the rest for a future house.
