As a dancer, I have trained in styles such as ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, lyrical, tap, and hip hop! With my inspiration of the dance icon herself, Ciara as well as many others, I have incorporated my own unique style that I would as “jazzy hip”. There is no style of dance that I can’t make into my own art.
Being in Ciara’s music video would change my life in a number of ways. First, to be even given this opportunity to even write this out is a blessing. I am from Marlboro County. Here in my County there’s no one that makes it out or get the chance of being brung into the light. No one here supports anyone no matter how good you are at your craft. So please believe me when I say this opportunity could be life changing for me. I love dance and this is what I’ve wanted my whole life
Besides having the chance to be in this music video, another big dream of mine has been to start my own dance competition! Throughout my years of grade school up until now that I am an associate teacher at my former dance studio, I’ve competed at Showstoppers, Dance Machine, KAR, Boogie Fever, etc, and I have gotten so much inspiration for this dream and $20,000 can help me a lot with that.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
