My inspiration derives from artists from all walks of life. From Alvin Ailey to Debbie Allen, to Tina Landon, Luam, and the great Laurianne Gibson, I've been influenced by dancers who create with a focus on storytelling and creating art through their choreography. Dancers who have the ability to blend styles creating iconic, signature movement truly give me life! My dance style is a fusion of: Hip Hop, Street Jazz, Modern, Contemporary Ballet, Afro-Caribbean, and vogue
I grew up listening to and dancing to Ciara and her music is a staple in my development as a creative. It would be somewhat of a full circle moment to have the opportunity to perform for such an iconic figure in my dance journey. For me, it would also confirm I did the right thing by "randomly" packing up my life and driving from VA to L.A. to pursue my entertainment dreams in 2023! It would solidify the last two years of navigating living 3,000 miles away from home was not in vain!
After making some charitable donations and solidifying my housing as an Los Angeles transplant, I would continue to pursue my career in entertainment; taking classes, investing in audition materials, and pursuing other performing opportunities. As an aquatics professional and certified swim instructor I would also continue my mission to ensure all families gain the gift of swimming and safety around water skills.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
