My dance style and inspiration grows everyday. From a little just knowing studio styles such as Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary and African I eventually grew to love the hip hop street style and HBCU majorette style of dancing. My inspiration for dance came from Icon like Ciara and Janet Jackson as well as the little girls who aspire to be just like me.
This opportunity would allow me to grow my dancing career and teaching career even more. Also allow me to try new things and get to experience an opportunity of a lifetime that any dancer would love to have. This is a dream for me and I am going to make it come true.
If I won the 20,000 I would put it towards my non profit organization that’s I am starting up in honor of my grandma and father. I lost them both in a span of a year and they both were my world so to do anything in their honor is a dream.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
