My dance style is a combination of hip hop, modern, crumping, ticking, sass and jazz. My inspiration comes from my childhood being a part of a dance group in Suburban Illinois named “Havoc”. Being part of the team gave me a sense of confidence that guided me to show my personality without judgement. Overall, dance has always been a passion of mines. Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Teyana Taylor, Ciara, Paula Abdul, Madonna and many more been my dance icons.
Ciara’s music video will impact my life in so many ways with no comprehension. I say that literally because I’ve always seen myself being a part of something big. When it’s time to hit the stage I’m nervous until that music comes on and it’s showtime. Going from a dance major at Columbia College Chicago to being the last one standing to be a Luvabull Cheerleader to not continuing due to lack of confidence. I can say, this is me, all me taking that risk again.
Hmmmm… $20,000 is a lot for my family. There’s so much to do with it. I will certainly invest into another passion of mines. I love to decorate homes and just housing overall. I would finally sign up for Real Estate courses to provide a better future for my 3 children. They deserve it all. This reward will give me more room to take more time off to go after what I really want.
