Tell us about your dance style or inspiration:

I grew up watching celebrities like Ciara and Chris Brown at home on my TV. I remember learning their moves and making up dance routines with my cousins for fun. Ever since I could remember I’ve always had a love for dance. I would consider myself a hip-hop dancer but I never like to put myself in a box or constrict myself to one style. I love all forms of dance and feel that dance is an expression of art. My love of dance has transformed into different levels, one being dance fitness.

How would being in Ciara's music video impact your life?

Being in Ciara’s video would impact my life drastically because it would show those who look up to me that anything is possible if you have faith. I represent a generation of young believers. It would also mean the world to me to meet the person who has had such a big impact on my life in the area of dance. She taught me to keep pushing and to never give up. I admire not only what she’s achieved, but also who she is as a person. It would be a dream to dance by her side!

What would you do with the $20,000?

I’ve had multiple opportunities to teach dance to the youth and also to adults through dance fitness. If I won the $20,000 I would broaden my horizons and start the process of becoming a studio owner, so that people in my community will have access to dance classes to learn, grow, and evolve in dance. I just want to be in a position to give back to the community where my dream of dance came to life! I aspire to inspire other young girls to follow their dreams!
