I have trained rigorously in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop and contemporary for 20 years. I have the elegance and grace of ballet mixed with the sass of jazz and the sharpness and control of hip hop. I'm 26 right now and currently teach dance to students age 3-60. My biggest inspiration is my two daughters, Fawn (4) and Meadow (2).
Being in Ciara's music video would be a dream come true. I dedicated my whole childhood to dance. By age 17, the studio I attended became so toxic I decided to quit dancing. My dance teacher was abusive and emotionally tortured me for quitting. I was on the path to being a professional dancer and life took a different turn. I'm now a mom and want to show my girls that you can follow your dreams without selling your soul or compromising on your values.
If I won $20,000 I would put it toward finishing our home. We live on 26 acres in the woods. When we bought this land there was just an empty shop with no running water. We lived here for 7 months without water in the harsh winter (I was pregnant at the time with our 1st baby). We have been here 5 years now and are still living in a construction zone with two kids. We would love the opportunity to have real flooring, finished walls and a homeschooling space for our girls.
