I’ve been dancing since high school as a majorette and now I’m 36 and divorced. Dance helped me get my life back and keep on going.
Help me compete to become the Dance Icon and appear in a music video with Ciara and win $20,000!
Majorette dance with my favorite coach Kelvin Hill from Eastern High School in Washington DC. I started dancing to build confidence and to avoid some emotional issues I dealt with at the time. I always dance either in my head or at a traffic light behind the wheel whatever makes me feel fulfilled.
It would give me totally inspiration to get out of this rut I’m in. I need to get back to me. I’ve been a mother for so long that I feel like I’ve been losing that spark inside of myself. My whole life would be amazingly better with such an honor from one of the best dancers in the industry.
I would invest in my nonprofit organization and give back the way I’ve been planning to for 6 years now. I had a dance team before so I would also bring that back and this time with funding and free uniforms and registration fees for all my kids. This would super warm my heart! My kiddos helped me with knowing that I can lead.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
