My dance style is a mixture of jazz, Hiphop and majorette. I have taken years of dance classes, with inspiration coming from Teyana Taylor, Drea Kelly, Kat Graham in “Honey 2”, and HBCU style majorette teams like The Dancing Dolls of SU and The Prancing Jsettes of Jackson University .
Ciara’s music video would impact my life by opening many doors for me and my family. Having my own dance team now, it would give me so much more experience to be able to come back and share with them. It would also lead me to the opportunities to work with many other important people who could contribute to my career in choreography, and support me in my dream of opening my own studio one day. I genuinely just want to dance, so the video itself would just show me how powerful I am as an Af
I currently attend LSU as an out of state student. I have a partial scholarship and am attending with the hopes of completing my nursing degree and paying off my loans due to it being such a great school with a great biology program. With this money I would pay off the interest of my loans which have been holding my mother, who takes care of my two nieces who she adopted, and my little sister on her own. One of my nieces is severely autistic, so I would also get her a full time sitter as well!
