Because I'm still a student I'm discovering my "style", but I'm a sponge when it comes to learning. I love hip-hop and I excell in lyrical dance and have a a few local awards thanks to it. I take inspiration from all kinds of preformers like, Michael Jackson,Beyoncé,J-hope, and street performing groups. My goal is to always give my best and leave the crowd feeling satisfied in their decision to watch my performance.
"Ciara" has always been a household name for me, growing up with a young mom who also loved dancing I can still remember one of my first experiences with dance being taught the two step. There is so much I can learn about the industry from just being in the room, I would be extremely grateful for the exposure to a life I've always wanted. I'm hoping to build connections through this opportunity and gain a deeper understanding of what I want.
A majority of the money will go to paying for my future college fees but I do want to save some to give my to my biggest supporter. My mom being a single mother and going through nursing school, she never wants me to worry about expenses but I know that's a hard load to carry so this money will be a great help. I want to go to school for theatrical arts, while still focusing heavily on dance, so I can later pursue a career in both fields.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
