It's a cliché for a reason, but my inspiration comes from any Pop Idol you can think of. Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Paula Abdul, Bruno Mars, The Pussycat Dolls, boy bands, pretty much ANY K-Pop group, and the list could truly go on forever. I've always known the stage is my home, as I started dancing competitively when I was 6, so I quite literally grew up onstage. As far as style goes, you can throw just about anything at me and I'll take the challenge head on.
Being featured in a Ciara video would be life changing. Music Videos are such a vital piece of an artist's story, so being part of that vision would truly be incredible. I've always wanted to dance backup along my favorite artists, so this would really just be the first step opening so many new doors for me and my career.
It's unpredictable what goes on behind any family's closed doors, and mine is no exception. My father passed away in January after 2 heart attacks last year, only 3 months apart. $20,000 would not only allow me to follow any young entertainer's dream of moving to a better city for my career path, more importantly it would help keep my family feel safe and secure as we navigate our new life. Between caring for my loved ones and starting my own story, that sounds like money well spent.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
