My style is infused with my culture, my experience on this earth, studied dance styles and my spirit. I’ve studied hip hop, Afro, Traditional African, ballet, jazz, contemporary etc. Which heavily melt into my style of dance. It would impact me heavily, it would affirm everything I set my mind to, to be true. It would affirm all my dreams and beliefs for myself. It would make the little boy in me smile. It would make me proud of my hard work and make my parents hard work worth it.
My Dad would say to save it. Which is what I plan on doing, Either save it to put a deposit on an apartment cause this rise in the cost of living is risingggg. Or put it towards a trip to LA, I’ve always wanted to go and dance my heart out for the biggest artists, meet good people and experience great things through my art. I want to put the money towards something that will make a ripple effect on people I love and the ones that need it.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
