My dance style is a mix of hip hop, Haitian Kompa, and Caribbean dance, which reflect my Haitian American roots. I love the energy and rhythm these styles bring to my movements. Recently, I’ve started learning ballet, which has helped improve my control and technique. I also know a little tap, salsa, and Irish dance. Being part of the Boston Celtics Junior Dance Team and my school’s Banneker Beats team has inspired me to keep learning different styles and expand my passion for dance!
Being in Ciara's music video would totally change my life! Dancing is my passion, and this opportunity would help me grow so much. My mom, who's an art teacher, always believes in me, and I know she’d be so proud. Seeing a superstar like Ciara in action would be incredible—watching her work so hard would inspire me even more. This chance could open so many doors for my future and make my dreams feel even closer. It would be an unforgettable experience that could shape everything!
If I had $20,000, I’d use it to help pay for my dance classes so my mom wouldn’t have to work two jobs to pay for them. The rest I’d save for college to make sure I can follow my dreams, and I’d also give my mom some to help with bills. She works so hard, and I’d love for her to be able to get something nice for herself too, since she always puts everyone else first. It would make me so happy to be able to help her the way she’s always helped me!
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
