Watching “Goodies” music video at the ripe age of 10, I knew I wanted to grow & tap into my creative side. Then on , I wanted to push to be great. In my own way showing my art through expression & emotion inspiring others. Getting a connection to my peers around me made me become passionate even the more. Dance itself made me want to strive to challenge myself as a dancer beyond the studio. “Dance is in me, not on me”. I live by that so I can better my craft daily
This would impact my life by giving me great exposure for my talent to connect to my peers, friends, family, and audience in my art form. I will be able to learn to further my career and grow as a dancer from this opportunity. Knowing I can be fierce/confident in my craft/talent.
This investment would be a blessing. It will help me achieve my dream of opening my own dance studio. Furthermore, it will create a foundation for a future that will grow abundantly. I also want to give back to the people that poured into me. Back to God , my family , my church , my supporters and everyone who has encouraged me throughout my journey this far.
