My dance style is Dancehall and originated with dancing to hip hop and reggae as a child in Canada and later on back in St. Lucia my birth place . Also brought up in St. John, USVI . My inspiration as a child has been Ciara! Chris Brown and Missy Elliot . Ciara has embodied being a mother and a artist , thriving and fashion and savvy business endeavors, I inspire to be a Black woman/mother who can still do what she loves and make use of what’s come next to advance and inspire
It would impact me by first and foremost, be a humble experience to be able to get the opportunity and to be among someone who has continued to inspire me and be a student in her presence and allow the passion we both have for dance to cultivate better opportunities and a lifetime memory , being able to hopefully invest a business to be more independent mom of two boys 9 and 4. I would like to put myself in position to do more and assure a brighter future for my kids and myself , and impact.
I would invest in a lux commercial and residential cleaning business and also enroll in cosmetology school to advance my self in the beauty industry to gain independence and financial stability ina growing / profitable industry.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
