My dance style is hip hop and jazz inspired. Though I am self taught, I’ve had pre-professional training in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Hip hop, and African. I’ve been dancing since I was four year old, started out praise dancing at church. Dancing is something that brings me joy. I always remember to have fun and put God first in anything I do. I want to inspire other girls like me and let them know that there is more to dancing than just the moves but telling a story and developing confi
It would impact my life so much by being able to dance with someone who I’ve always looked up to, as a Singer, dancer, mother & wife Ciara is the role model girls like me need to see! This would build my confidence in so many ways. I feel like I’d be one step closer to achieving my dream which is to own a school for the arts and give back to my community. This would also help me use this experience as a way to learn and grow as a performer.
I would use the 20,000 dollars to help jump start my career, I would have professional pictures taken, pay for gear and classes to help perfect my gifts. I would invest in studio space to help invest in my dream to teach youth in underserved communities like the one I’m from. I would use the money to pay for attending a performance arts school if that’s where the Lord decides to take me as well.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
